BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – J. Bird’s Island Eatery, located at Hilton Garden Inn Cape Canaveral, will celebrate the unveiling of its first custom-designed tiki mug with a Torch Lights & Tiki Mugs party on Sunday, June 21, from 4 to 7 p.m.
Crafted exclusively for J. Bird’s, the limited-edition “toucanaut” tiki mug is inspired by Florida’s Space Coast, the spirit of rum-fueled storytelling, and vintage tiki culture.
It was designed by Scott “Flounder” Schiedly, an Orlando-based artist widely celebrated for his satirical pop-surrealism and custom tiki mug designs, and produced by California-based Tiki Farm, the world’s largest designer and manufacturer of custom ceramic tiki mugs, founded by Holden Westland.
A limited number of toucanaut tiki mugs will be available for purchase during the event, each including a complimentary specialty cocktail.
Guests will also have the opportunity to meet Schiedly and Westland, learn more about the design process, and celebrate the launch alongside fellow tiki enthusiasts.
Torch Lights & Tiki Mugs is a free, family-friendly event featuring food and drink specials and live music from Saylor & the Captains.
In honor of Father’s Day, the first ten dads in attendance will be entered into a raffle for the chance to win a free Toucanaut tiki mug.
