Brevard Symphony Orchestra July 4th Concert and BBQ Set at Cocoa Riverfront Park, Free for All Attendees

The Brevard Symphony Orchestra announced the return of its fan-favorite 4th of July event, Symphony Under the Stars, in partnership with the City of Cocoa, on Saturday, July 4, at 8 p.m. at Cocoa Riverfront Park.

BREVARD COUNTY• MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Brevard Symphony Orchestra will present its fan-favorite 4th of July event, Symphony Under the Stars, in partnership with the City of Cocoa, on Saturday, July 4, at 8 p.m. at Cocoa Riverfront  Park.

This concert is free for all attendees, and fireworks begin at 9:15 p.m. Guests are welcome to bring a chair or blanket to enjoy the event.

Join BSO supporters,  musicians, and staff at a VIP BBQ at 6:30 p.m. at the Cocoa Civic Center.

Tickets to the VIP  BBQ are $65 for Brevard Symphony Orchestra subscribers, $80 for non-subscribers, and include dinner, dessert, reserved parking, and reserved concert seating.

This year, we welcome guest conductor Gregory Buchalter to the Park’s stage to lead the  BSO in patriotic favorites and family-friendly selections for all ages.

Gregory Buchalter currently holds the title of Music Director and Conductor of both Varna International and  Vero Beach Opera and is in high demand as a guest conductor throughout the world.

Maestro Buchalter has conducted the South Florida Symphony, the Charleston Symphony, and internationally, he recently made his debut with the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra and conducted performances of the Verdi Requiem throughout Italy. 

“This event would not be possible without the support of Mindy & Company, Grant Gillenwater of Morgan & Morgan, the City of Cocoa,  and the City of Rockledge,” said an event spokesperson. 

The Brevard Symphony Orchestra is the only fully professional orchestra in Brevard County and is home to many of Central Florida’s finest classical musicians.
