NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – It was a cold start to the morning across East Central Florida.

Most of the region saw freezing temperatures this morning, with Melbourne, Orlando, and Vero Beach either breaking or tying previous record lows.

Today will be the last chilly day as temperatures remain 15-20 degrees below normal ranging in the low 60s across Brevard and the Treasure Coast.

Developing onshore flow will moderate overnight lows with temperatures dropping into the mid to upper 40s across most locations. A few areas north and west of I-4 may dip into the upper 30s with patchy frost possible and the Treasure Coast will remain in the low 50s.
