Florida Tech will celebrate yet another special season by honoring its student-athletes at the 2015 Athletics Awards Banquet this Tuesday at 6 p.m.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Florida Tech will celebrate yet another special season by honoring its student-athletes at the 2015 Athletics Awards Banquet this Tuesday at 6 p.m.

Presented by Carrabba’s Italian Grill of Palm Bay, the annual event held on campus at the Clemente Center can be viewed online at FloridaTechSports.com/live.

President and CEO Anthony J. Catanese, along with Athletics Director Bill Jurgens, will pay tribute to the Panthers’ seniors, men’s and women’s teams with the highest grade point average and the recipient of the Panther Cup.

In addition, the two will recognize the beneficiary of the Athletic Director’s Leadership Award, Athletic Training’s Comeback Player of the Year Awards, Strength and Conditioning’s Most Dedicated Awards, the Andy Seminick and Martha Work Sportsmanship Awards, Scholar-Athletes of the Year and Male and Female Athletes of the Year.

The voice of Panther basketball, Jim Mitchell, will also be acknowledged for his 36 years of volunteer service to the program.
