REPORT: 2014 Good Year For Brevard County Tourism, Bodes Well For 2015

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – A report for 2014 was very positive for Brevard County’s tourism economy.

The hotel industry, leisure and hospitality employment, total number of visitors to Florida, total taxable sales and median home prices posted a monthly year-over-year increase in percentage changes.
All other indicators such as Port Canaveral’s passenger count for multi-day and single-day cruises and Melbourne International Airport’s and Orlando International Airport’s passenger count all posted an average increase for the year.
These findings are clear indicators for a very positive economic outlook for 2015.
