FIT Accepting Registrations For Offshore Fishing Tournament May 29-30

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Online registration is available for the inaugural Florida Tech Football Offshore Fishing tournament, slated for May 29-30 in Cape Canaveral, Florida, at Give.FIT.edu/Fishing.
The deadline for registration is May 29 at 7 p.m. The entry fee to participate is $300 with proceeds benefiting the Panther Football program.
Additionally, sponsorship slots remain available at the $500 and $1,000 dollar levels.
Tournament weekend will kick off with a captain’s party, sponsored by Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Audi of Melbourne, on Friday, May 29 at its dealership on 509 East NASA Blvd. in Melbourne.
The tournament is scheduled for Saturday, May 30 with the official weigh-in at 4 p.m. at the boat ramp at Jetty Park in Cape Canaveral.
Following the tournament, an awards party will be sponsored by and held at Florida Beer Company, 200 Imperial Blvd., Cape Canaveral, FL 32920.
