Yves Rossy, one of the pilots and the inventor of the rigid-wing jetpack in the video, has flown over the Grand Canyon and the English Channel, to name a few places.
The 120 pound device has Rossy jumping out of an aircraft above 7,000 feet and uses free fall to gain speed to then soar into the sky.
Most of his flights last 15 minutes and cover up to 35 miles and include practicing complex maneuvers such as loops and flying in formation with airplanes.

“It is the first time that two guys have flown in formation like that – like birds but only with body movements,” Jetman Yves Rossy.
“The average speed when we are going straight is about 200kph. While we are descending, we can go up to 300kph. It’s quite fast – it’s like the maximum speed of a biker,” said Rossy.
