Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Recognizes National Police Week to Honor Law Enforcement Officers

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Sunday marked the first official day of National Police Week 2026, a time that honors law enforcement officers, not only from our own community, but those across the country, who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

This week, we reflect on and remember those who were lost in the line of duty protecting our citizens and communities.

It is a time for us to honor them, reflect on their passion for serving, and collectively pray for their families who they left behind in the ultimate sacrifice of service.

As this week unfolds, I could not be more proud of the brave men and women of our agency, as well as the members of our partner agencies, who put on the uniform each and every day to serve with honor and commitment, and to stand guard against evil.

While this week is National Police Week, it is not lost on us that we as law enforcement officers are blessed to serve in Brevard County where each and every day our citizens love us, trust us, and protect us just as much as we love, trust, and protect them.
