POLICE: Former FSU ‘Chief Osceola’ Murdered Over Gumbo Recipe

PANAMA CITY, FLORIDA – A heated dispute in the kitchen of a Panama City restaurant lead to the death of man who once starred in one of the most popular pre-game traditions in NCAA football.
According to Panama City Police Department, Caleb Joshua Halley, 34, died last Thursday from injuries sustained from co-worker Orlando Thompson at Buddy’s Seafood Market.
The incident occurred after an apparent altercation over the amount of spice to put into gumbo.
Halley played “Osceola” from 2004-2007.
The Panama City Police Department arrested Thompson on a charge of murder.
