identity, pride embedded in firefighting family

Erin Shea was raised as a fireman’s kid and so much of her family identity and pride is embedded in the firefighting family.
October 25 was her wedding day and the firefighters at the station across from the Crowne Plaza, where Shea was getting married, helped her stage the perfect father-daughter reveal to her Dad, and Erin sent this message of thanks via Facebook:
I just wanted to take a moment and share a special story made possible by the gentlemen on duty October 25 at the fire house across from the Crowne Plaza Melbourne-Oceanfront.
My Dad is a retired battalion chief out of Tallahassee Fire Department.
I was raised as a fireman’s kid and so much of our family identify and pride is embedded in our firefighting family.
October 25 was my wedding day. The guys at the station across from the Crowne Plaza, where I was getting married, helped me stage the perfect father/daughter reveal to my dad.
I stood by the engine and my dad on the other side of the bay door.
When the door opened, my dad, a tough firefighter, turned into butter seeing his little princess as a bride for the first time.
I just wanted to thank the crew and share some pictures with you of an incredible moment Thank you gentleman for helping create an amazing memory and thank you for protecting Brevard County.
