Florida Highway Patrol Identifies Fatal Crash Victim As Soyna Belt of Satellite Beach

Soyna Belt, 36, of Satellite Beach, has been identified by the Florida Highway Patrol as the victim of the fatal traffic crash that occurred Friday afternoon.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Soyna Belt, 36, of Satellite Beach, has been identified by the Florida Highway Patrol as the victim of the fatal traffic crash that occurred Friday afternoon.

FHP Troopers arrived on the scene of the fatal crash at about 2:20 p.m. Friday that happened on the southbound exit ramp from I-95 to State Road 524.

According to FHP,  Belt was driving a 2012 Ford four-door vehicle and was traveling southbound on I-95. For an unknown reason, she lost control and her car left the roadway, then struck a pole.

According to FHP Sergeant Kim Montes, the victim was wearing a seatbelt and pronounced dead at the scene.

This crash remains under investigation.
