Gunman Attempts To Rob Days Inn In Titusville, Police Seek Suspect

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – A gunman attempted to rob the the Days Inn, located at 3755 Cheney Highway in Titusville on Friday morning at approximately 10:05 a.m.
According to Titusville police Lt. Glen Hamann, the male suspect entered the Day Inn and produced a note and brandished a firearm to the clerk, in an attempt to rob the business.
The clerk was not injured during the incident, and the suspect fled the store.
“It is believed that the male left in a dark blue sedan, possibly a Volvo,” Lt. Hamann said.
“The male is described as a white male in his mid-20s to early 30s, wearing a black tee shirt and jeans.”
Lt. Hamann said the case is still being actively investigated by Detectives and updates will be sent as they become available.
