Brevard Fire Rescue: Brush Fire In North Brevard Closes SR-407

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Crews have shut down a part of State Road 407 in both directions just west of Space Coast Regional Airport.
The result of the shut down is due to a brush fire that crews are working to extinguish.
The roadway between Interstate 95 and State Road 405 is closed. Officials urge drivers to avoid the area and use an alternate route.
Units are still working to extinguish the blaze.
