BREVARD COUNTY, VIERA, FLORIDA – Supervisor of Elections Lori Scott is pleased to announce Brevard’s 123 polling locations are now open and ready to serve county voters.

All polling locations are open until 7 p.m. today.

71,558 voters have already voted in the 2016 Presidential Preference Primary Election, with 46,294 Vote-by-Mail Ballots returned and 25,264 Early Voter Ballots cast.

Before heading to the polls, voters are encouraged to visit the www.VoteBrevard.com website for election information.

“The website is a great Election Day resource,” said Scott.

“From your computer or smartphone, voters can verify their registration status. They can also view the status of their mail ballot, see real-time voter turnout, obtain a sample ballot as well as find their precinct information, and directions to their polling location.”

If you do not know where your polling place is, contact the Supervisor of Elections.

“Florida is a closed primary state, so voters should remember that only registered Republican and Democrat voters are eligible to vote in this election,” said Scott.
