BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The District Five Commission Office is looking for a volunteer to fill an opening on the Community Action Board (CAB).

The CAB reviews and recommends programs for the Brevard County Community Action Agency through the use of Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) funds. Additionally, the CAB provides Community Based Organization (CBO) funding recommendations to the Brevard County Board of County Commissioners.

The CAB meets quarterly on the second Tuesday of the month. A term is for one year but could be as long as three years. The applicant for this position does not have to be a resident of District Five.
