BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The second annual Dancing For the Space Coast, a unique competition and fundraising event that benefits three worthy organizations on the Space Coast, will be held at Florida Tech’s Clemente Center on Saturday, June 4.

This year, Dancing For the Space Coast will benefit the Brevard Public Safety Charity, who has earmarked the proceeds to be distributed to the Foosner Art Museum, Sally’s House and AMI Kids.

Among those participating this year is Carol Ann Stumpf, whose passion for dance came to fruition in the 1980s dancing in a Samba School in Rio de Janeiro’s Carnival.

In 2011, she participated in Dancing with Our Stars in Rancho Mirage, California for a charity event and won third prize, along with the “Sauciest” Samba award.

Professionally, Stumpf put her experience and love of travel to work, while living here for 20+ years, as the owner of a travel agency. She is presently employed as a travel consultant with Beyond and Back Travel in Melbourne Beach.
