Cocoa Police Department’s Officer Dee Meisner Retires After 24 Years In Law Enforcement

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Congratulations to Officer Dee Meisner on her retirement. Officer Meisner has been with the Cocoa Police Department since 2005.

Prior to that she was with the Brevard County Sheriff’s office for 10 years.

Today, she is ending a 24 year career in law enforcement. Officer Meisner is one of the original advocates for community policing. While she has served in many capacities within the CPD her passion was always community policing.

In 2015, Officer Meisner was named the CPD’s Officer of the Year. She has worked tirelessly to help improve the quality of life for the residents of the community through her outreach efforts.

We will miss her dedication and hard work, but we wish her health and enjoyment during her retirement years.
