Brevard Sheriff’s Office Takes Down Wanted Suspect In Viera For Multiple Violent Charges

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office has arrested 38-year-old Keith Laron Hancock, of Cocoa, after police received a call the wanted suspect was located at a residence on Hammock Lakes Dr. in Viera.
According to Cpl. Dave Jacobs of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, Hancock had an active Felony Bench Warrant for his arrest as a result of failing to appear to court on charges related to Kidnapping, Aggravated Assault, Felony Battery (2nd Offense) and Driving with a Suspended License.
Hancock has an extensive violent arrest history to include: Attempted Murder, Aggravated Assault, Battery Domestic Violence, Armed Burglary, Aggravated Stalking, Kidnapping, Grand Theft Auto, and multiple narcotics charges.
After a brief refusal to exit the residence, Hancock then exited the residence and was arrested by the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit without further incident.
