UPDATE: Death Investigation of 80-Year-Old Man In Scottsmoor Ruled A Homicide

Brevard County Sheriff’s Offfice deputies responded to a residence near Sunset Ave. in Scottsmoor on February 17 at around 10:30 p.m., after a concerned friend found 80- year-old Grady Wright dead inside the residence.

BREVARD COUNTY • SCOTTSMOOR, FLORIDA – Brevard County Sheriff’s Offfice deputies responded to a residence near Sunset Ave. in Scottsmoor on February 17 at around 10:30 p.m., after a concerned friend found 80-year-old Grady Wright dead inside the residence.

The Brevard County Medical Examiner’s Office performed a post mortem examination of Mr. Wright, ruling the manner of death as homicide, according to Cpl. John Martinez of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.

Homicide agents and Crime Scene investigators are currently conducting interviews and examining physical and biological evidence in the case.

The investigation to date has determined the incident to be isolated, says Cpl. Martinez.
