Amy Atwell has been helping authors in various ways since she founded WritingGIAM in 2004. In 2011, she received the RWA Service Award for the scope of her volunteer activities. She honed her skills of developing and implementing action plans as a theater production manager, then went on to 15 years of retail management, where she specialized in organization and problem-solving. A 2008 Golden Heart finalist, Amy’s 2010 debut release “Lying Eyes” is a contemporary caper that blends mystery and suspense with love and laughter. She self-published “Ambersley” in 2011, which hit the Top 100 Books and #1 in historical romance on both Kindle and Nook and has since sold 100,000+ copies. Her current “day job” is running Author E.M.S., a book formatting and uploading services company that works with 350+ authors.
JoMarie DeGioia is a bestselling author of historical and contemporary romance. She’s known Mickey Mouse from the “inside” and has been a copy editor for her tiny town’s newspaper and a bookseller. A hybrid author, she also writes young adult fantasy/adventure stories and paranormal romance. She gets lost in DIY projects around the house and works out plot ideas during long runs. She divides her time between Central Florida and New England.
Leigh Duncan is the award-winning author of more than two dozen novels, novellas and short stories. Her first full-length book, “The Officer’s Girl,” was released by Harlequin American Romance in 2010. Leigh went on to write seven more books for Harlequin, including the highly acclaimed Glades County Cowboys series, before she began writing the more complex, heart-warming and emotional stories that have resonated with her readers. An Amazon bestselling author and a National Readers’ Choice Award winner, Leigh lives on Central Florida’s East Coast, where she writes women’s fiction and contemporary romance with a dash of Southern sass.
Maria Geraci was born in Havana, Cuba, and raised on Florida’s Space Coast. Her love of books started with the classic “Little Women.” She writes contemporary romance and women’s fiction with a happy ending. The Portland Book Review called her novel “The Boyfriend of the Month Club” “immensely sexy, immensely satisfying and humorous.” Her fourth novel, “A Girl Like You,” was nominated for Romance Writers of America’s prestigious RITA award. Her current addictions include watching the STARZ adaption of “Outlander” to drool over Sam Heughan, hitting the beach on the weekends, and searching for the perfect Key lime pie recipe (but not the kind they served on “Dexter”).
USA Today bestselling author Kristen Painter is a little obsessed with cats, books, chocolate, and shoes. It’s a healthy mix. She loves to entertain her readers with interesting twists and unforgettable characters. She currently writes the best-selling paranormal romance series, Nocturne Falls, and the cozy mystery spin-off series, Jayne Frost. The former college English teacher can often be found all over social media where she loves to interact with readers. She is also the co-founder of the award-winning writers’ site RomanceDivas.com. Kristen lives in Florida with her retired Air Force husband and a horde of feline dependents. She is represented by the Knight Agency.
