BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Supervisor of Elections Lori Scott announced this year’s VOTE to End Childhood Hunger Bake Sale and Raffle is scheduled for Tuesday, May 23 from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. in the Titusville, Melbourne, Viera and Palm Bay election offices.
This year’s bake sale will include 13 raffle baskets with an average value of $875 per basket.
The gift basket themes are: At Sea, Family Fun, Father’s Day, Making Memories, On the Town, Pamper Me, Precious Cargo, Staycation, Outdoor Adventure, Taste of Brevard, Wag & Purr, and Weekend Getaway.
There will also be a 50/50 Raffle. Tickets for the raffle baskets are now on sale at all four Election office locations and are selling for $1 each or 6 for $5. The drawing for the basket winners will be Friday, May 26th.
Funds raised through the bake sale and raffle will benefit Project Hunger’s Feed and Read program, a Brevard nonprofit organization that aids undernourished children in the county year round.
Since 2009, the VOTE to End Childhood Hunger Bake Sale and Raffle has raised more than $17,000 for this incredible initiative.
