Former Florida Tech Soccer Standout Succeeding With Southern United FC

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Former Florida Tech women’s soccer standout, Courtney Hueston, has found success in her rookie season with the Southern United Football Club in Melbourne, Victoria.
The Miami, Florida native has competed in 13 matches in her first professional season in the PlayStation 4 National Premier League Victoria. Hueston has compiled four goals over the span, including two in Southern United’s 5-2 victory over Geelong Galaxy United FC on April 8. She also found the back of the net once against FC Bulleen Lions on April 2 and Box Hill United SC on May 20.
Southern United FC is currently fifth in the PS4 NPL VIC league standings with a record of 8-2-7.
A 2015 graduate from FIT, Hueston was a member of the Florida Tech women’s soccer team during the 2013 and 2014 campaigns. She started all 37 games over the two seasons, amassing 29 points on 10 goals and nine assists in 2,938 minutes of action.
In 2014, she was named to the All-Sunshine State Conference Second Team and was a Daktronics Second Team All-South Region selection.
