BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue crews saved two happy cats from a structure fire on South Tropical Trail in South Merritt Island Monday afternoon.

The house fire broke out about 1 p.m. in the 10000 block of South Tropical Trail.

Upon arrival, Brevard County Fire Rescue units quickly extinguished the blaze.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of fire is under investigation.
