BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — Brevard Public Schools Superintendent Desmond Blackburn and BPS School Board Member Matt Susin want to hear from area Brevard teachers, staff, parents and business partners at a town hall meeting on Thursday, Sept. 28 at Viera High School.
This is the third in a series of five town-hall events across Brevard County. BPS employees are encouraged – but not required – to attend.
After a short state-of-our-schools address by Blackburn, residents will be invited to pose questions and share comments on how BPS can improve service to them.
BPS is inviting all stakeholders to attend including grandparents, employers, city and county officials and members of nonprofit and advocacy groups.
The goal is to empower residents to help chart the direction of education and school policy in Brevard.
The public setting will not be a good venue for families to air private issues involving individual students.
