Marine Resources Council Will Host Free Rain Barrel Building Workshop Saturday at Lagoon House

$50 fee if you construct your own rain barrel

The Marine Resources Council will hosting a free rain barrel building workshop Saturday, Set. 30 at 12 noon at the Ted Moorhead Lagoon House, located at 3275 Dixie Highway NE in Palm Bay.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Marine Resources Council will hosting a free rain barrel building workshop Saturday, Set. 30 at 12 noon at the Ted Moorhead Lagoon House, located at 3275 Dixie Highway NE in Palm Bay.

Learn how rain barrels can be a vital tool in helping to save our lagoon. The workshop is free, but attendees must register.

There is a $50 fee if you would like to construct your own rain barrel at the event to take home.

The fee includes the barrel, all parts, tools and materials needed to build a rain barrel.

The event also features an Artisan Rain Barrel Silent Auction.
