BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – Mark Chesnutt, one of Country Music’s treasures, will perform a free concert on the opening night of the 2017 Space Coast State Fair in Viera on October 27. VIP tickets are now on sale.
Between 1990 and 2002, Chesnutt had his greatest chart success recording for Universal Music Group Nashville’s MCA and Decca branches, with a total of eight albums between those two labels.
During this timespan, Chesnutt also charted 20 Top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, of which eight reached No. 1. His late 1998-early 1999 cover of Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing,” in addition to topping the country charts, crossed over to the Billboard Hot 100.
“We are thrilled to have one of country music’s best coming to Brevard this fall,” said Giles Malone, chairman of the Space Coast State Fair local organizing committee.
“With 14 No. 1 hits, 25 top 10s, four platinum albums and five gold records to his credit, Mark Chesnutt has so many terrific songs.”

Concert Free With Fair Admission
The concert will be free with fair admission of $15, which also includes unlimited rides and shows inside the 30-acre fairgrounds, located in Viera, Florida.
VIP tickets for the concert, which includes seating in front of the stage, private bar and private restrooms are available for just $39. VIP tickets also include admission to the fair, unlimited rides and other free shows.
The Space Coast State Fair is Brevard County’s most popular annual event and has been a tradition on the Space Coast for 31 years. Sponsored by Viera Hospital, this year the fair will open Friday, Oct. 27 and close on Sunday, Nov. 12.
Featuring free unlimited rides and exciting free shows, gate admission is just $12 (Mondays through Thursdays) or $15 (Fridays through Sundays), and the Mark Chesnutt concert will be free with fair admission.
