BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA –Florida Tech men’s soccer player Brandon Smalley was honored as a Second Team All-South Region selection by the D2CCA.

Smalley started 12-of-14 games for the Panthers in 2017, helping the team earn a record of 9-6 and its fourth straight trip to the Sunshine State Conference Tournament as the No. 5 seed.

The Bridlington, England native was recognized on the All-SSC First Team this year after leading the conference in total points during the regular season with 21 on seven goals and seven assists.

Smalley recorded at least one point in 12 consecutive matches to open the 2017 season.

The sophomore recently received CoSIDA First Team Academic All-District honors and is currently in a pool of student-athletes eligible for Academic All-American, to be announced on Dec. 6.
