Eastern Florida State Men’s Basketball Team Falls To No. 15 College of Central Florida

16-GAME WINNING STREAK COMES TO AN END

OCALA, FLORIDA — The Eastern Florida State College men’s basketball team lost its Mid-Florida Conference opener Saturday night in Ocala.

The fifth-ranked Titans lost to No. 15 College of Central Florida 101-89 and are now 17-2 overall and 0-1 in the conference.

The College of Central Florida led by as many as 24 in the first half but the Titans fought back in the second half, cutting the lead to five with three minutes and 15 seconds left but could not finish off the comeback.

The Titans will be back at Titan Field House next Saturday afternoon against the Florida State College at Jacksonville.

The game will tip off at 4 p.m. and will be shown live on WEFS-TV and online at efsctitans.com/webcast.
