BREVARD COUNTY  • VIERA, FLORIDA – The Space Coast Symphony Orchestra performed a special concert “Symphony Under The Stars” Thursday evening to open the 2018 Space Coast Seafood & Music Festival.

The Space Coast Symphony Orchestra concert, sponsored by Paradise Ford of Cocoa, was the opening performance of the four-day Seafood and Music Festival featuring performances by Don McLean on Friday, Feb. 16;  Orleans on Saturday, Feb. 17; and The Wailers on Sunday, Feb. 18.

More than a dozen other musical groups will be featured during the festival.

The 2018 Space Coast Seafood & Music Festival is taking place at the all-new 30-acre Space Coast Daily Park, located in the center of Brevard County of Florida’s Space Coast, and features more than 40 seafood vendors, 100 arts, crafts and marketplace vendors, 30 amusement fair rides, games and shows.

Admission to the festival is $10 at the gate or $8 in advance when tickets are purchased at any Walgreens store.

Children under the age of 10 will be admitted free to the festival. Concert tickets start at $25 and include festival admission. Four-day concert and four-day festival passes are also available.

The Space Coast Symphony Orchestra is a lively and passionate Central Florida orchestra comprised of professional musicians, music educators and mentored amateurs of exceptional ability.

The Orchestra was formed by Collins with a two-fold mission: to provide mentoring and performance opportunities for Florida’s finest young musicians as well as to provide professional concerts at genuinely affordable prices.
