Melbourne Police Special Investigations Unit Arrest Seven During Execution of Search Warrant

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne Police Special Investigations Unit officers detained 18 suspects and arrested seven during the execution of a search warrant at 2845 Tropic Road in Melbourne.

This drug sting, which happened in March, was part of an ongoing investigation into the sales of illegal controlled substances and health and code violations in the City of Melbourne.

During the search, police discovered cannabis, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Those arrested and charged included Dawna A. Bass, Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Cannabis Under 20 Grams; Anthony Wade King, Resisting Arrest/Obstruction Without Violence; Christopher Allen Mogle, Resisting Arrest/Obstruction Without Violence; Michael A. Moore, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; Kenneth James Osborne, Resisting Arrest/Obstruction Without Violence; Lisa Teague, active warrant for Violation of Probation; Dayton Vanholt, active warrant for Violation of Probation.
