Cocoa Police Investigating Armed Robbery At Burger King Late Monday Night

Cocoa Police are currently investigating a reported armed robbery that occurred late Monday night at the Burger King on 4600 W. King Street.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Cocoa Police are currently investigating a reported armed robbery that occurred late Monday night at the Burger King on 4600 W. King Street.

According to the Cocoa Police Department, at 10:23 p.m. police dispatchers received a 9-1-1 call from an employee stating that at least four or five suspects armed with rifles had just robbed them.

The caller stated he believed one suspect was a female.

“According to the employee the suspects entered from the front and the rear entrance which was not secured,” said Yvonne Martinez of the Cocoa Police Department.

“The suspects reportedly forced three employees into the freezer at gunpoint and held the manager at gunpoint in the office as they stole money from the safe and cash drawers.”

Police say the employees reported the suspects also stole their cell phones and fled the area.

The suspects reportedly wore masks and gloves and the victims were not able to get a physical description or any vehicle description.

No one was injured during the robbery.
