Music Legend Willie Nelson Walks Off Stage In Charlotte Shortly Before Performance Leaving Fans Upset

CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA – Willie Nelson cancelled his performance at the Outlaw Music Festival on Saturday after he walked off stage in Charlotte, North Carolina, shortly after picking up his guitar to begin the performance.

Leaving fans shocked by the move, one of the fans caught the moment on camera and shows Nelson walking onto the stage and picking up his guitar, only to put it down a few seconds later and exited the the stage.

Fans were offered rain checks as a result.

Nelson, 85, visited Brevard County earlier this year on March 2 where he performed at Space Coast Daily Park in what was one of his first performances after his flu in February.

A tweet from Live Nation alleges Nelson was ill and couldn’t play.
