Titusville, Brevard Fire Units Knock Down Residential Structure Blaze On Heather Drive

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville Fire, with assistance from Brevard County Fire Rescue, responded to the report of a structure fire at 3320 Heather Drive Thursday morning about 6 a.m.

According to Titusville Fire, District 10 arrived on scene to find heavy smoke coming from all four sides of the home and established command.

“After performing a 360 it was noted that propane tanks were venting inside the garage and the power was unable to be secured,” said Titusville Fire officials.

“Personnel made entry and got knockdown on the fire. Full extinguishment was unable to be performed until FPL arrived to secure the power.”

Some homes in the area were without power for a short time as FPL removed the meter to the home.

There were no injuries and no one at home at the time of the fire. The State Fire Marshal’s Office will be performing the investigation with the cause undetermined at this time.
