WATCH: Cocoa police officials appeared on WWBC 1510 AM to talk about the upcoming Space Coast Police K9 Competition set for Saturday, October 13 at Tiger Stadium at Cocoa High School. BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – The Cocoa Police Department will host it’s Inaugural Space Coast Police K9 Competition on Saturday, October 13 at Tiger Stadium at Cocoa High School.

“This will be the first time such an event has been held in Central Florida,” said Cocoa police officials on social media.

“We are looking for sponsors to help us make it an incredible event. If you know someone willing to help please share and get them in touch with us.”

This is a family-friendly event featuring raffle prizes and a vendor expo. Thr first place winner will receive a Diamondback DB15 Elite rifle.

Sponsorship levels include: $5,000 K9 Copper Title Sponsor; $2,500 K9 Bear Sponsor; $1,500 K9 Kable Sponsor; $1,000 K9 Kyra Sponsor; $500 K9 Handler Sponsor; and $250 K9 Decoy Sponsor.

All proceeds benefit will benefit the non-profit organization, Cocoa Community First. This event is free and open to the public.
