Eastern Florida State College Hosting Nation’s Top JUCO Men’s Basketball Players This Week

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA– Eastern Florida State College will host 36 of the best junior college basketball players in the nation for three days of camp and games.

The JA32 will be broken down into four teams and begins Wednesday with practices and a combine to get each player’s individual statistics. On Thursday each team will play two full regulation games and one more game on Friday to wrap up the event.

Eastern Florida State College men’s basketball coach Jeremy Shulman will be one of the four head coaches for the event and is looking forward to coaching this group.

“It’s unbelievable. This is the McDonald’s All-American game for junior college,” Shulman said. “You have got some of the best players in the entire country from California to Florida so it is going to be a high level of basketball. It is going to be a really exciting week.”

Sophomores Nathanael Jack, Junior Madut and Jalen Warren will represent the Titans as well as newcomer Tyler Chisom. The four Titans is the most representatives from a single team in the event which is free for fans to attend Thursday and Friday morning.

Also coaching in the event is Indian Hills Community College head coach Hank Plona, College of Southern Idaho head coach Jared Phay and Western Nebraska Community College head coach Cory Fehringer.

The games begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday and 8 a.m. on Friday at Titan Field House on the Melbourne campus of Eastern Florida State College and admission is free.

“It is amazing for our school and our community to get a chance to host the premier junior college All-American event in the entire country,” Shulman said.

“It is an unbelievable honor for us and I want to thank Brandon Goble and JUCO Advocate for choosing Eastern Florida State College.”
