BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA  – Bryan Lober, Republican Brevard County Commission District 2 candidate, has picked up the endorsement of former commission candidate Jim Glover.

“As a retired U.S. Army officer who devotedly served our country for more than 20 years, I fought in defense of our constitutional rights and for the freedoms we enjoy, including our right to vote,” said Glover.

“It is with great pleasure that I endorse Bryan A. Lober for District 2, County Commission. Some of you may recall that, for a time, I was in the running for this very same position. While I am no longer in the race, I ask those who supported me to lend their support to Bryan. I ask that you support the only candidate who will look out for our interests and not those of lobbyists, special interests and staffers. I know Bryan and I trust him to put people before politics.

“The establishment’s fear that their handouts will come to an end is why they’ll say anything, even if they know it’s not true, to prevent Bryan from being elected. On August 28, you will be asked to vote in the upcoming primary election. By voting for Bryan, you will be opposing cronyism and supporting our right to select a candidate who will fight for us!”

Glover is a retired U.S. Army field artillery officer and an attorney/consultant, and withdrew from the Brevard County Commission race earlier this year.  He has experience as a Florida Supreme Court Certified Legal Intern at the 18th Judicial Circuit State Attorney Office Misdemeanor Division as a Prosecutor for misdemeanor DUI, battery domestic violence and petty theft crimes.

He is a graduate of Stetson University College of Law and is AV Preeminent rated by Martindale Hubbell. He has taught subjects ranging from Criminal Litigation to Business Law at Seminole State College’s ABA Approved Paralegal Education Program.

He was recently appointed to serve on the statewide Judicial Nominating Procedures Committee and is Florida Supreme Court certified as a Circuit Civil and Family Mediator.

“District 2 constituents deserve to be represented by someone who is fiscally conservative and will ensure that county funds are not gratuitously spent and that taxes aren’t raised unless the need is genuine and extenuating and there exist no meaningful alternatives,” said Lober.

BREVARD CLERK OF COURTS SCOTT ELLIS: “Bryan Lober will bring a fresh set of eyes and an inquisitive mind to the county. Bryan is beholden to no political or financial interests and will challenge status quo government.”
