OBITUARY: Russell A. Young Sr. of Cocoa Passed Away Peacefully Oct. 7 at Age 82

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Russell A. Young Sr. of Cocoa passed away peacefully, on Sunday evening, October 7, 2018, at age 82.
Russell was born in Falls River, Massachusetts on October 10, 1935. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War and then later was employed by Acousti Engineering in Rockledge, Florida for 43 years.
He enjoyed golfing and was a loving husband, Father, Grandpa and Great-Grandpa! Russell is predeceased by his first wife: Dorothea, brother: Charlie, and step-grandson: Davey Franklin.
He is survived by his wife Mary Young; brother, Toby; daughter, Victoria; two sons Russell Jr. (Carolyn) and David; step-son David Franklin (Dina); grandchildren Brittney and Russell III; and several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Clearlake Baptist Church on Monday, October 15, 2018, at 5 p.m. with a service immediately following at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Brevard Hospice & Palliative Care in memoriam of Russell.
