Undercover Operation Leads To Six Men Arrested In Cocoa For Solicitation of Prostitution

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA –Cocoa Police arrested six suspects on Friday in a special proactive enforcement operation targeting prostitution activity on Peachtree St. and Blake Avenue.

Police say the undercover operation began after few citizen complaints regarding prostitution and other illegal activity in the area.

According to the investigation, an undercover police officer posing as a prostitute walking the area of Peachtree St. and Blake Avenue was approached numerous times by men seeking the services of a prostitute.

The suspects arrested agreed to pay the officer in exchange for sexual acts, according to police.

After a verbal agreement was established, police moved in on the suspects to make the arrests.

“We will be conducting proactive enforcement targeting this type of activity for the foreseeable future,” said Chief Mike Cantaloupe.

“If you are looking for it, the odds of getting arrested in Cocoa are now exponentially higher.”

The individuals arrested on Friday for solicitation of prostitution are identified as:

· 18-year-old Ramiro Bonilla-Penaloza
· 36-year-old Roberto Carlos Rivera
· 41-year-old Douglas Lee Willoughby
· 42-year-old Andrew Schultz
· 41-year-old Wesley Floyd Riley
