BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Exactly one year ago today, Agent Kevin Stanton’s life was taken when he died in the line of duty. Kevin was an incredible son, brother, a tremendous Deputy Sheriff and an amazing friend to all who knew him.
Kevin’s memory serves as a legacy for all his brothers and sisters at the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office and our entire community who loved him dearly!
Each thought of Kevin serves as a constant reminder of the ultimate sacrifice that Kevin and so many other brave Law Enforcement Officers have made to protect our citizens.
In the coming months, Kevin’s name will be etched upon the National Law Enforcement Memorial Wall at Washington DC in honor of his sacrifice.
A contingency of our agency will be accompanying the Stanton family during this solum event that honors all of the fallen Law Enforcement Officers throughout our country.
Please join me in a moment of thought and prayer for Kevin’s family and friends during this difficult day as we remember his legacy as a member of our BCSO Family!
