Brevard County Fire Rescue Responds to ATV Crash On Merritt Island, Trauma Alert Issued

Brevard County Fire Rescue responded to an ATV crash in the 6100 block of Carew Place on Merritt Island about 12:30 p.m. A single trauma alert was issued as Brevard County Fire Rescue units E40, SQ41 and R41 were on the scene. A landing zone was prepared at Mitchel Ellington Park for Health First First Flight to evacuate the victim to the hospital.

BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue responded to an ATV crash in the 6100 block of Carew Place on Merritt Island about 12:30 p.m.

A single trauma alert was issued as Brevard County Fire Rescue units E40, SQ41 and R41 were on the scene.

A landing zone was prepared at Mitchel Ellington Park for Health First First Flight to evacuate the victim to the hospital.

Officials have not yet released the name of the victim or the circumstances of the crash.
