Melbourne, Covenant Christian Boys Basketball Teams Each Finish Eastern Florida Team Camp at 4-0

13 teams competed over three days at the Team Camp

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Melbourne High and Covenant Christian boys basketball teams both finished the Eastern Florida State College Team Camp unbeaten and were the top of their brackets after three days of basketball.

The Bulldogs went 4-0 including big wins against both Titusville High and Bayside High on Wednesday.

Melbourne High edged Titusville in the first game of the day, 54-52 and then defeated Bayside High 52-45 in the second game to lock up the division title.

Christian Cole had a big basket and was fouled in the final minute to solidify the win for the Bulldogs.

Titusville High and Holy Trinity each finished the camp 3-1.

In the Legacy Division, Covenant Christian won by going 4-0 including a nice comeback win against the Melbourne2 team, taking the lead with 10:23 left in the game and picked up the 50-42 win.

Overall, 13 teams competed over three days at the Team Camp.
