Lakeside Social Celebrates Grand Opening Labor Day Weekend With Four Days of Live Music, Food and Entertainment

BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA — Lakeside Social, Viera’s newest outdoor dining, entertainment and community destination, will celebrate its official grand opening during Labor Day weekend, September 4–7.

The four-day celebration will feature live music, DJs, food trucks, local vendors, fire dancers, aerialists and family-friendly entertainment. Admission is free throughout the weekend.

Located at Lakeside at Viera Town Center, Lakeside Social is an open-air waterfront destination designed to bring food, drinks, live entertainment and community events together in one setting.

The venue accommodates approximately 1,500 guests and features two bars, a waterfront amphitheater and lawn, multiple food trucks, outdoor gathering spaces and a full calendar of entertainment and special events.

“Lakeside Social was created to be much more than another place to eat or grab a drink,” said Daniel Todd of Rogue Wave Hospitality Group. “We wanted to build a true gathering place for Viera — somewhere families can spend an afternoon, friends can meet for drinks, people can discover great local food, and the community can come together for live music and events.

“This weekend is really about celebrating Viera and everyone who helped bring Lakeside Social to life.”

• 6:30 p.m.: Official ribbon-cutting ceremony

• 7:30 p.m.: Fire dancers

• 8–11 p.m.: DJ In Tyme

Saturday, September 5

• Noon–4 p.m.: Harbor City Trio

• 5–9 p.m.: Hot Pink

• 6:30 p.m.: Aerialists

• 7:30 p.m.: Fire dancers

• 9–11 p.m.: DJ Xandr

Sunday, September 6

• Noon–3 p.m.: Josh Miller

• 4–8 p.m.: Truphonic

• 5:30 p.m.: Aerialists

Labor Day — Monday, September 7

Local vendors and a children’s area will also be available throughout the weekend. Fire dancers will perform all four days, while aerialists will appear Saturday and Sunday.

Lakeside Social will open daily at 11 a.m. during the celebration.

The grand opening marks the beginning of an ongoing entertainment calendar featuring live music, DJs, community gatherings, sporting events, private parties and large-scale special events.

“We want there to always be a reason to come back,” Todd said. “You might come one day for the food, another night for a band, or spend an entire afternoon here with your family. Lakeside Social was designed to become part of the community.”
