City of Melbourne Hires Vincent Peluso as New City Engineer

The City of Melbourne has hired Vincent Peluso to serve as its new City Engineer. He has more than 22 years of government experience. He most recently served as the Senior Engineer, Development Engineering Division, for Orange County Utilities Department.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The City of Melbourne has hired Vincent Peluso to serve as its new City Engineer.

“Peluso has more than 22 years of government experience,” said Cheryl Mall, Public Information Officer for the City of Melbourne.

“He most recently served as the Senior Engineer, Development Engineering Division, for Orange County Utilities Department.”

Peluso has also worked for the City of Oviedo, South Florida Water Management District, the Florida Department of Environmental protection and was an adjunct professor at the University of Central Florida.

He holds a B.A. in chemistry and an M.E. in civil engineering from Florida Atlantic University, an MBA from Palm Beach Atlantic University, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Florida.

Peluso began his service to the City of Melbourne on September 9.

He replaced former City Engineer Jenni Lamb, who was promoted to Deputy City Manager in February.
