Joint Venture Expands on the Health First and AdventHealth Partnership Agreement Signed Earlier This Year

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Health First is proud to announce it has signed a letter of intent for a joint venture with AdventHealth Centra Care that will deliver compassionate urgent care and expertise close to home. 

For more than eight decades, Health First has provided revolutionary healthcare options for Brevard County neighborhoods.

The joint venture is expected to be finalized later this year and begin serving customers in Spring 2020.

The joint venture is not a purchase but a collaboration between Health First and AdventHealth Centra Care that will increase access to self-scheduling options, health services and more convenient locations.

Pending final details of the agreement, the collaboration allows Health First to expand its urgent care capabilities with an industry leader who has established its commitment to provide compassionate care for the community.

A proven leader in urgent care, this opportunity aligns resources to better serve Brevard County communities.

Providing adult and pediatric care seven days a week, this is an affordable alternative to the emergency room for urgent conditions like infections, allergies, stomach problems and pediatric concerns.

With most major insurance plans accepted, patients can walk-in or make an online reservation.

The walk-in clinics will also offer services such as flu shots, X-rays, EKGs and physical exams. Additionally, Centra Care clinics offer Occupational Health services like; drug and alcohol testing, workers’ compensation and wellness management.
