UCF Knights Move Up To No. 16 In Coaches Poll Ahead of Saturday’s Game vs. Stanford

ORLANDO, FLORIDA (UCF Knights) – The UCF football team improved to 2-0 on the season after defeating FAU 48-14 on the road Saturday night. The Knights improved one spot to 16th and 17th in the Amway Coaches Poll and the AP Top 25 Poll, respectively.

The Knights’ overall point total in both polls jumped up again, recording 584 points in the Coaches Poll and 544 points in the AP Poll. UCF jumped ahead of Washington in the polls and now stands just behind Texas A&M.

With the win this weekend at FAU, the Knights improved to 33-2 all-time when ranked in the Top 25. UCF looks to continue improving that impressive record next weekend, hosting Stanford on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. inside Spectrum Stadium.

UCF has been ranked in 29 straight Top 25 poll releases, dating back to week six of the 2017 season, and it marks the 42nd time in history the Knights have been in the Top 25.
