WANTED: Man Robs Regions Bank in West Melbourne, Police Seek Suspect Who Fled on Foot

West Melbourne police are seeking the perp of a bank robbery that happened Wednesday at approximately 3 p.m. at the Regions Bank, located at 1051 West New Haven Avenue. BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – West Melbourne police are seeking the perp of a bank robbery that happened Wednesday at approximately 3 p.m. at the Regions Bank, located at 1051 West New Haven Avenue.

According to West Melbourne Police Sgt. Michelle Page, the suspect entered the bank and presented a note to the bank teller.

“The bank teller handed the suspect an unknown amount of money,” said Sgt. Page.

“The suspect fled the bank on foot in an unknown direction. The suspect did not display a weapon or harm anyone.”

Police describe the suspect as a white male with a short dark beard, possibly in his early 20s, thin build, and approximately 5-feet-10-inches tall.

At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing a black ball cap, dark sunglasses, black long sleeve shirt and blue jeans.
