BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast (EDC) announced its slate of officers for its Fiscal Year 2026/2027:

■ Chair, Todd Pokrywa: COO, Real Estate Group, A. Duda & Sons, Inc.; President, The Viera Company

■ Chair-Elect, Brian Baluta: Director, State & Local Government Relations, FL, Lockheed Martin

■ Secretary, Michele Murrell: External Affairs Manager, Florida Power & Light

■ Treasurer, John Nicklow: President, Florida Institute of Technology

■ Immediate Past Chair, Linda Stout: Senior Vice President, Truist

The EDC officers represent a wide array of Space Coast industries. These professionals provide valuable expertise in their fields and will strengthen the EDC’s economic development efforts.

Officers guide the EDC towards established strategic goals as it works on behalf of the community to create opportunities for the county, local businesses, and citizens.

“I am honored to have the opportunity to work with this outstanding slate of officers and the devoted staff of the EDC in this upcoming year,” said Pokrywa.

“The EDC takes the lead on a number of important programs throughout Brevard County, and I’m excited to work alongside our community leaders to continue driving success for the Space Coast.”

The Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast is dedicated to attracting new business and investment and expanding existing industry throughout the Space Coast, influencing changes in government laws and regulations affecting economic development, promoting the Space Coast to encourage new investment, supporting efforts of Space Coast military installations, and relaying new programs and procedures to assist manufacturing and high-tech companies.

The EDC is a private, not-for-profit coalition whose stakeholders are business leaders committed to the economic growth and stability of Florida’s Space Coast.
