BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – On Thursday, our agency announced that we had culminated an investigation into the distribution of kilogram quantities of Heroin and Cocaine that was being distributed in Cocoa, Merritt Island, and Cape Canaveral.

Today, I want to give everyone a very detailed update on the criminal organization and the various individuals that were committing the criminal activity.

Early Thursday morning, Sheriff’s Agents with the Special Investigations Unit, Fugitive Unit and GameOver Task Force spread across Brevard County to arrest 36 members of a criminal organization distributing the illicit drugs.

Arrest warrants were issued for each of the 36 suspects who have been identified throughout the course of the investigation as the alleged sources and distributors of these deadly drugs. Arrest and search warrants were authorized by Honorable Circuit Court Judge Robert Segal.

As you are aware our agency will do everything possible to rid our community of these deadly drugs and those that are responsible for the distribution!! Investigations of this magnitude are difficult and are the result of incredible efforts by all involved.
