BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – The Space Coast Vipers will travel up the road to square off with the Astronaut War Eagles in a pivotal Class 4A District 2 matchup in Titusville on Friday.

Friday Night Locker Room’s Game of the Week will be broadcasted on Space Coast Daily TV with Orville Susong, Steve Wilson and Daryl Durand on the call. Pregame coverage starts at 6:45 p.m.

Astronaut War Eagles’ (2-3) season hasn’t started off the way many expected after being one of last year’s surprising teams by accumulating 10-wins. However, the War Eagles look to get the season back on track when they host Space Coast tonight and improve to .500 on the season.

Astronaut is led by their running backs Jaiden Dollard (Sr.) and Abreon Torres (Jr.) who have each run for 409 yards and 423 yards, respectively.

The rushing attack has been the strength for War Eagles who average 5.4 yards a carry as a team.

Astronaut enters Friday after a heartbreaking 16-14 loss on the road last week to Sebastian River.

Space Coast Vipers (3-2) have playoff aspirations in mind and could improve their chances for a playoff berth with a win on Friday.

Head Coach Matt Diesel and his Vipers also enter a tough stretch on Friday when they play three-games (@Astronaut, @Eau Gallie and @Father Lopez) from October 11-18.

Space Coast is coming off a dominating 37-0 victory over Titusville last week.
