About 2,500 runners took part in this year’s Turkey Trot 5K which also included youth runs of 1/4, 1/2, and 1 mile for the little gobblers.

The track at Cocoa Beach Jr/Sr High School has deteriorated into disrepair and is unsafe for training and racing and the race this year supported “GET ON TRACK,” the Cocoa Beach Kiwanis project to refurbish the track at Cocoa Beach Jr./Sr. High School.

All finishers received a finisher medal and first, second, and third overall and masters, male and female, received gift certificates to Juice N Java in addition to medals.
